FAQ

What programs/supplies do you use?

Procreate and Krita for Digital Art, Blender for 3D.
For traditional I use Sakura Koi watercolors, Holbein
gouache, and Faber Castell pencils/pens/kneaded erasers.

Can you hear me? Should I speak up?

As long as you have a mic and little background
noise, I should be fine. I'll let you know if I can't
hear you. Be aware that I struggle with accents.

What pronouns do you use?

I prefer they/them, but I understand if you struggle
with it, as long as you make an attempt and are respectful.

How do you pronounce Sericae?

You can either pronounce it SEER-uh-kay or seer-EH-kay.

What time zone are you in?

It's Eastern Standard Time.

What's the best way to contact you?

The fastest way is definitely my Discord. I check
Toyhou.se multiple times a day, Instagram/Tumblr once or every other day, and Twitter maybe once a week.

  • I AM HARD OF HEARING IN BOTH EARS AND HAVE ADHD. PLEASE BE PATIENT.

  • Please use tone indicators when necessary.

  • If I do something that makes you uncomfortable, PLEASE tell me. It's never my intention.

  • If you are messaging me something, please get to the point in the first message. It makes me anxious waiting to see what you want.

  • I repeat things a lot absent mindedly, and it can sometimes be annoying. Let me know if it bothers you when it happens and I'll try to focus more on thinking before I speak.

  • If I'm in a call with multiple people and you are talking loudly, singing, reading in game text aloud, using a voice changer, messing with a sound board, etc. I will probably lower your volume or locally mute you. Those things easily overstimulate me and make it difficult for me to focus and near impossible for me to hear others. I usually let people know when I do this and if you need me you can just @ me in chat.
